The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is an outstanding hotel, fabulous, with the most beautiful view I had already seen from a hotel. Very good service, rooms well conservated and very polite people.

    Very good

We booked a room with a lakeview and we did get that. However, the double glazing was in need of attention. The bathroom was tiny. A proper shower cubicle and a proper bath would have been appropriate.

The huge cost of the room for the night.

We reserved a room with a view of the lake and the glacier. It costs more but the sunrise over the glacier and lake was the most stunning view I have ever seen and worth every penny (or rather dollar). Once we parked the car we did not need it again as the hiking trails lead directly from the hotel along the lake, up to the Lake Agnes teahouse and also to the Plain of Six Glaciers.

Not exactly a complaint because we knew ahead of time but considering the expensive cost of a room, one should realize that all extras cost money - parking, WIFI, breakfast, etc.

i firstly would to say that rob in the cariboo bar ?, emily, jeff on the seventh floor should be commended for their excellent service , nothing was to much trouble and their friendly outlook was appreciated. The staff are a credit to your hotel. The food was excellent, plenty to do and we will certainly be back.

my wife left a top in our room (781) , we didn't realize until we got to kelowna , i called the hotel but didn't get a satisfactory result, my wife bought the top in europe and it would have been nice to have had a better result, other than that we could'nt fault any thing about our stay

During our eight days this summer vacation in Canada, this location was the highlight. The hotel was chosen for the view. We got the view and enjoyed it. But it was not cheap!

All the restaurants in the hotel need to be reserved.

The location is fabulous. This is the main reason we chose this hotel.

I was very surprised to find out that as a guest @ the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise that parking is extra. Yes the rooms are very lovely, however that is reflected in the price of the room. I would have expected that parking would be included. I have stayed at other very nice hotels, and have never had to pay additionally for parking.

    Superb

It is one of the most famous hotels in the world and I've always wanted to stay there. The location is the primary attraction of the site on Lake Louise and close to one of my favourite ski resorts.

I don't think they should charge for parking. As a guest dropping big bucks for a room, the parking should be free.

    Fabulous

The location was excellent, right on the lakeside with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains in the background. The king-bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was nice despite the freezing temperature outside.

The lake view room upgrade wasn't worth it, as you get to see the lake as soon as you step outside. Wifi and parking were pricey extras that I think should be included in the room rate considering it is an exclusive hotel with an equally exclusive price tag.

hotel location is next to lake Louise

    1. There was a 1.5 hour delay for the online booking to populate at the hotel database so they gave us the room 2. Room had no power: 3 side lamps, fan, and phone was not fuctionning. One of the side lamp had the wires exposed which totally unsafe and caused my wife to feel unsafe 3. We requested maintenance service: it took 30 min for the maintenance person to come and check, it was not convenient at all as (my wife and I were having dinner) 4. the maintenance person said that he will send someone but after 30 min the power came back up and no one verified if everything was ok -- Luckly, I unplugged the side lamp that had exposed wires from power !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friendliness of all staff. The views. The comfort etc etc. Mainly being able to eat excellent meals, as the problem of needing a GLUTEN FREE diet was completely understood by all the staff involved in catering at this hotel.

Simply a fantastic place to see and if you can afford to stay there then you are truly lucky. I had to wait 40 yrs to stay there! Loved the old world charm and high tea! Loved the hospitality floor

HIGH prices on food, drinks and basically everything

the view of Lake Louise is amazing!

we were disappointed at check-in, as we had to wait more than 1 hour to take the room! the price was extremely high, but the view pays off.

    Fabulous

The accommodation was in a fantastic setting and we enjpyed our time there visiting from Australia.

I paid for a lakeview room but found I was placed on the first floor room whose view of the lake was impeded by three trees. this was a little disapp0ointing and thought the nature of this view needed to be made clear and not charged out the same as other rooms with an unimpeded view. we also found that every restaurant was fully booked that night allowing ius only onew in hoise option for a meal...room service.
